Ribs

Michael posted a nice compliment yesterday on his Blog about my ribs—BBQd ribs that is. The weather was great today and having a BBQ was also an excuse to buy a Weber Chimney Starter to light the BBQ briquettes. I was impressed by the starter. The ribs needed indirect cooking, finished by direct, which was a bit complicated. Lots of chilli in the rub and the sauce—spicy!

This morning I sent Graham a link to an article about barbecued spare ribs on the Cooking For Engineers blog, in an “out of interest, have you seen” kind of way. So I wasn’t expecting to come home to the full works wonderfully prepared on our new barbecue.

They were fantastic, extremely tender and very spicy. Yummy! Thanks Graham!
