Agnetha is on the right. I’m just starting to be able to tell them apart.
Michael planned a lovely ride inspired by Mark and Duncan’s trail from yesterday.
Our ride was 40km: we didn’t have the cake we planned in the Old Dairy – eggs on toast!

All went smoothly yesterday for the arrival of our two new chickens, which Michael’s named Agnetha and Anni-Frid. Charming. They are Rhode Island Reds so will lay brown eggs and look gorgeous (being red-heads of course). We picked them up yesterday morning from Dan’s Perfect Poultrys, which was fine but I didn’t get to meet the Den as he was off with a cold. The chickens and all the bits and bob’s came to £60, and that was my 2012 birthday present from Michael finally cashed. He reminded me that the gift explicitly excludes any offer of husbandry. They spent all day in their coop, and overnight. I’ve just let them out this morning. Bentley is not interested, as expected. If he knew they were edible chicken it would be another story.
