JetPlane

I’ve been living in Cambridge since 1994. I grew up in Callander (Scotland) where I went to McLaren High School. I then spent four years living in Glasgow and studying for a degree in Chemistry at Strathclyde University before moving to Cambridge to do research for my PhD thesis at Cambridge University. During that time I was a research student at Clare Hall. I met my partner Michael in December 1990 through the University LesBiGay society and we became Civil Partners in February 2006. After my PhD studies, Michael and I moved to New Zealand for one year, where I was a Royal Society Travelling Fellow at Auckland University, and where we met some fantastic friends. We moved back to Cambridge in 1994 and I joined the Publishing Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
